It's surely the place to be! Students waiting for their O level results and those eager on a polytechnic education, will have lots to see, hear and do when they visit TP's Open House from Thursday, 19 Jan to Saturday, 21 Jan 2006. The five Schools of Applied Science, Business, Design, Engineering and Information Technology will open its doors to the 15,000 visitors expected and go all out in talking about their courses, hands-on work involved, student internship available, opportunities for further studies and the kind of related work opportunities awaiting. Among the 38 full-time diploma courses in TP are six new courses just launched!
Apart from getting information on our courses, there will be many other exciting, adrenalin-pumping events as TP's Open House this year, will feature a host of exciting activities which includes an appearance by Singapore Idol finalists, Sylvester Lim and Olinda Cho. Some of the other activities visitors can look forward to include:
·Water Adventures @ Bedok Reservoir where visitors can try canoeing or rowing dragon boats on Bedok Reservior! There will also be canoe polo demonstrations.
·Exciting Games & Performances @ CCA Hub which will showcase the dynamic student life of TP! We have many exciting programmes like artistic performances, sports challenges, stunning actions & games!
·Arts at TP is happening! Catch our popular traditional performing arts groups, our Dikir Boys, Music Vox, & Hip Hop dancers.
