Call for Contributions
We welcome submissions related to the conference theme—Critical Pedagogies · Changing Perspectives · Crossing Boundaries—and the following sub-strands:
- Academic development
- Adult education
- Assessment
- Digital technologies in education and/or e-learning
- Problem-based Learning
- Scholarship of teaching
- Leadership in education
- Curriculum design
- Student learning experience
- Student support
- Educational research
- Quality assurance
- Education and employment
There are two types of conference contributions:
Full research or scholarly papers (refereed paper)
- Full paper of 3000 words is refereed (double blind review)
- 300 word abstract
- Full paper is included in the official publication of the conference proceedings
- 30 minutes allocated for presentation, including question and answer
Research or scholarly papers should describe empirical studies or theoretical work related to current issues in any sector of education. The paper should be relevant to the conference theme and suitable for an international audience. Full papers will be blind reviewed by at least two reviewers appointed by the Conference Executive Committee.
Showcase presentations (refereed abstract)
300 word abstract is refereed 30 minutes allocated for presentation, including question and answerShowcase presentations should describe successful and/or innovative approaches to teaching or learning in contexts and settings relevant to an international audience. Alternatively, presentations of research work where session feedback is useful to the presenter are also appropriate. Abstracts will be reviewed by the Conference Executive Committee.
Authors and showcase presenters are asked to refer to the Review Criteria for details.

Submissions are accepted on the basis that at least one presenter must register and attend the conference.
All contributions should be original, comply with copyright law, and be consistent with the guidelines relating to format and presentation.
Authors are asked to refer to the Guidelines for Authors for full research and scholarly papers.
Abstracts for full papers and showcase presentations must be submitted online and further notifications will be done via email.
Abstract submission for full papers and conference presentations is now open.

Full papers or showcase presentations that are accepted will be allocated 30 minutes for presentation, including question and answer. In each room, the following will be provided:

We advise you to bring a copy of your presentation on a memory stick/thumb drive. All presentations will be pre-loaded prior to the beginning of the session.
