Learning journeys for TP & UWA students

Some of the 20 UWA students who came to TP for an intensive course on TV production.

FIFTEEN Communications & Media Management students had a taste of university life overseas even before they graduate with their diplomas. They were the students selected for a three-week exchange programme with the University of Western Australia (UWA) in March.

While it was an opportunity to adjust to life away from home, the programme more importantly gave them the chance to hone their global mindsets. Having undergone the experience and a course on Australian culture, they became more aware of the cultural and environmental issues facing the country.

As part of the exchange programme, 20 students from UWA had earlier come to TP for a three-week intensive course on TV production which earned them credits towards their degree programme. Besides providing the desired global exposure for our students, the programme also highlights the sound quality of TP’s curriculum.
