TP connects to the world

TP has embraced the challenge for workers of the future to play larger roles as global citizens. In conjunction with its 15th anniversary, it launched the Global Connect Festival which took place between May and July.

One of the key activities in the festival was a seminar series aimed at promoting better understanding of the environment, culture and social practices in countries with which Singapore is developing close ties – China, India and Vietnam.

Participants to the seminars, including staff, students, parents and industry guests provided good feedback. Mr Yeow Shih Yeh, General Manager, Information Technology Centre of Hitachi Asia Ltd, who attended the seminar on India, commented: “The seminar provided a good insight on the business culture as well as practical sound advice on how business transactions should be done in India. It was an interesting and enlightening session and it gave me an opportunity to expand my business contacts.”
