TO meet the manpower demand in new growth areas, Temasek Polytechnic (TP) will offer six new courses in the new academic year
starting from April 2006. This will bring the total number of courses offered by TP to 38.

The new courses are in support of the upcoming integrated resorts (IR) as well as imminent areas in information technology.

Of the IR-related courses, the Temasek Business School will be offering two new courses — the Diplomas in Culinary & Catering Management and Leisure & Resort Management while the Temasek Engineering School is introducing the Diploma in Integrated Facility Design & Management.

Doubling its offering of courses, the Temasek Information Technology School will be offering three new courses — the Diplomas in Cyber & Digital Security, Game & Entertainment Technology, and Financial Business Informatics. These courses are offered as a direct response to the strong market demand for professionals in these industries.
