IR bid

Mr
Mark Advent from Eighth Wonder Inc gave TP staff
and students a rare glimpse into the IR-bid process.
|
TP students and staff had the rare privilege of hearing
a CEO’s personal insights into his company’s
proposal for the Sentosa integrated resort (IR).
Titled “Creating the Next Generation Integrated
Resort”, Mr Mark Advent, chief executive of Eighth
Wonder Inc, wowed the audience at the Temasek Convention
Centre on Nov 24, 2006 with his company’s vision
for the IR. While Eighth Wonder’s bid was not the
one eventually selected by the Government, the insights
into the company’s vision and thinking proved a
valuable learning experience for staff and students
who attended the talk.

As part of Eighth Wonder’s proposal included a
Pele Stadium, staff and students received an extra treat
when the soccer ambassador paid a special visit to the
campus on Nov 28, 2006.
