A UNIQUE effort with BreadTalk, the popular boutique bakery, has seen to TP’s Marketing students participating in a special workshop for charity.

A Design-Your-Cake Workshop was held on campus to raise money for TP’s Campus Care Network (CCN) Fund for needy students. Aided by BreadTalk’s marketing team and five chefs, 20 Marketing students worked to decorate 20 cakes in this charity effort.

Both students and lecturers who took part found the workshop most gratifying. Said lecturer Gary Lin: “It’s such a joy to be able to design a cake that expresses your love and feeling for someone and also contribute to the CCN fund at the same time.”

Ms Sue Lou, course manager of the Marketing course shared that it took quite a bit of planning on the part of BreadTalk to make possible the Design-Your-Cake Workshop on campus. “We’re very thankful to the company for being so supportive of our effort. Cheers to the students and chefs for contributing to the success of such a meaningful event.”
