Scholarships for TP’s
tourism students

Over the next five years, a total of 15 students from
TP’s hospitality and tourism courses will receive the Paul Armstrong Scholarship given out by Skål International
Singapore. The Skål Club is a professional organisation
of tourism leaders around the world, promoting global
tourism and friendship.
Three selected students will receive $2,500 each per year.
To qualify for the scholarships, the prospective recipients
must be outstanding academically with genuine financial
needs.
Named after Mr Paul Armstrong, the former International
President of the Skål Club, the scholarship was initiated
by the president of Skål International Singapore, Mr
Patrick Fiat, with the aim of helping aspiring students
who wish to build a career in the tourism industry.
Currently, TP offers three diploma courses in the tourismrelated
areas; Leisure & Resort Management, Hospitality& Tourism Management and Culinary & Catering
Management.
