Tsao Foundation Scholarships for gerontology students

Students taking the new Gerontological Management Studies course will be trained to meet the demands and aspirations of the silver market.

THE Tsao Foundation will award full scholarships that cover the three-year fees for five deserving students entering the newly-launched Gerontological Management Studies (GEM) course at TP. The Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older people.

The scholarships mark a promising beginning for the course which is the first in Singapore to be conceptualised in response to the rapidly growing silver generation and the ensuing burgeoning economic opportunities The multidisciplinary focus of the curriculum will also enable students taking the course to apply their knowledge in business settings relating to business management, marketing, sales and programme management.

Aside from the Tsao Foundation, TP is also working closely with the Centre For Seniors, the Council For Third Age and the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports to provide relevant industry projects for both staff and students in this course.
