TP to study local HR trends with The GMP Group

Mr Edmond Khoo (left) deputy principal of TP, and Ms Annie Yap, chief executive officer of the GMP Group, sealed the agreement.

A LEADING human capital solutions provider, The GMP Group, is tying up with Temasek Humanities& Social Sciences School to carry out a collaborative research project on the latest trends in recruitment, retention and talent management in the local human resource industry. The findings of the study are expected before mid-2009.

The study is part of an MOU signed by both parties that will also pave the way for further collaborations, and open up future opportunities for scholarships, book prizes, and student internship programme placements for TP students.

“The MOU with GMP is a timely and appropriate one for us,” said Mr Ang Teck Hua, course manager of the Psychology Studies course which is offered by the School. “There is much synergy in this partnership because human capital management is a key area of focus within our course.”
