TP student wins AsiaStar Awards again

Cheah Sherns’ design makes it highly entertaining for children to eat the crackers. Each time a cracker is pulled out from the pack, an animal’s head gradually glides to the bottom, and once there, it is rewarded with a delicious cheese cracker.

IT IS considered the Oscars of Asia’s packaging industry and for the second successive year, a student from Temasek Design School has won the prestigious AsiaStar Awards.

Cheok Cheah Shern, who is pursuing the Visual Communications course, has won this prestigious regional award for his interactive packaging design for Julie’s Cheese Crackers.

The AsiaStar Awards is organised by the Asian Packaging Federation. It recognises the best talent in Asia for outstanding and innovative packaging
designs.
