Our Facilities

To support your learning and personal development, the campus is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. A modern library with digital resources, 61 lecture theatres, air-conditioned classrooms, training laboratories and Centres of Excellence that simulate industry operations are here to provide the most supportive learning environments for you.

Our firm belief in developing your fullest potential also means that you are spoilt for choice with the comprehensive range of sports and recreational activities available. These span the gamut of equipment and facilities for sports and cultural activities, from squash and tennis courts, to soundproof music and dance studios.

Library

The TP Library provides a wide range of information resources, services and ultra-modern facilities to support the teaching, learning and research needs of the TP community. Within the eleven storey building, you will find:

  • an extensive collection of books, journals and multimedia and audio-visual resources.
  • a Lifestyle floor comprising newspapers, selected magazines, books on self-help, sports, health and nutrition, humour as well as fiction, cable TV for sport and world news, and sound domes for easy music listening
  • study rooms and project rooms
  • AV viewing carrels
  • Internet PCs with MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint pre-installed. Printers are linked to the PCs for the users' convenience. Users may also connect their notebooks to free-access LAN points. There is also at least one Access Point (wireless base station) on every floor in the Library building.

Friendly staff are available to assist with research or help you use the facilities and resources more effectively. Individual assistance can be sought by phone, email, or in person, while the user education programmes offer training for groups in basic library skills, either as live workshops or online tutorials. These programmes teach research skills such as how to find information in journal and newspaper articles, how to search the Web more effectively, and how to evaluate the information found.

This café is managed by students and supervised by staff and teaching instructors from the School of Applied Science. It offers a selection of daily menus that include a main course with soup-of-the-day, ice-cream or beverage. The café also offers a selection of baked products as well as hot and cold beverages such as floats and smoothies. A specially formulated low Glycaemic Index (GI) blueberry muffin is also available. Some popular choices include the chicken ham and mushroom penne, chicken bolognaise, root beer float and desserts like brownies and waffles, both topped with ice cream made by Koolwerkz, the school’s training ice cream factory.

Deli Delite Cafe



This outlet is a learning enterprise by the School of Applied Science. It is managed by students and graduates, and supervised by staff and teaching instructors. It offers a range of quick takeaway food and beverage. Among them are some all-time-favourites such as sandwich rolls, sausages and mash, bubble teas, smoothies and also the popular Teppanyaki ice cream, which is produced specially by the school’s Koolwerkz training factory.

The Top Table

The Top Table



This contemporary full-service restaurant seats about 60 to 80 persons and serves to train service and culinary students in the finer points of restaurant service and cuisine. The restaurant also has a feature bar, show kitchens where guests can see our student chefs at work, and two private dining rooms called Salt and Pepper.

Temasek Polytechnic adopted the Bedok Reservoir on 24 Aug 2005 as part of “Our Waters” programme launched by the Public Utilities Board.

You may book Bedok Reservoir facilities and services via National Parks Board's Parks Booking System.
