Temasek Centre for Problem-Based Learning

The Temasek Centre for Problem-Based Learning (TCPBL) is one of TP’s Centres of Excellence. Its role is to provide professional development and conduct research in order to further the knowledge and practice of PBL.

Since its establishment in 1999, TCPBL has organised the 2nd Asia-Pacific Conference in 2000 and TP’s PBL Conference in 2005. In conjunction with these events, the publications "Problem-Based Learning: Educational Innovation Across Disciplines" (2000) and "Problem-Based Learning: New Directions and Approaches" (2005) were produced.

A Reviewing and Enhancing PBL (RePBL) project team was inaugurated in 2009 to bring PBL at TP into its second decade.

TCPBL administers the TP PBL Website, which provides resources on the theory and practice of PBL.
