HD Short Films by TP Grads Shown on Big Screen

They have just graduated from Temasek Design School’s Interactive Media Design diploma and they are tomorrow’s local High Definition (HD) filmmakers! Philothea Liau, Linus Koh, Katherine Kirana, Lim Wei Shan, Mohammad Fairuz, Lyana Irdahwatty and Adrian Quek are among the first batch of students to be fully trained in the latest industry-compatible platform for HD technology. They will be screening their HD short films at Cathay Cineleisure Orchard on 19 Jun 2007.

TP Students Won Spirit of SIFE Award

World Environment Day: Temasek Poly Students Do Their Bit for the Earth

The simple act of witnessing a hawker pour some used cooking oil away one day inspired Mr U Tin Lin, a Chemical Engineering lecturer at TP, to come up with a solution to a problem that had been bothering him for some time: how to reduce the pollution from the waste cooking oil that many normal households were throwing down the sink.

This year, working adults from seven part-time courses will graduate alongside students from 33 full-time diploma courses in the areas of applied science, business, design, engineering and information technology at Temasek Polytechnic’s 17th Graduation Ceremony. The graduation ceremonies are spread over nine sessions, and Mr Liew Mun Leong, President & CEO, CapitaLand Pte Ltd, will grace the opening session.

Temasek Polytechnic Presents 7 Top Graduates

They include two winners of the Lee Kuan Yew Award, winner of the Tay Eng Soon Gold Medal Award, winner of the CapitaLand Award for All-Round Excellence, winner of the DBS Excellence Award, winner of the Philips Design Excellence Award, and the gold medalist for the Diploma in Information Technology.

TP Brings New Hope for Kidney Patients
