The Enrolment Package contains important information to assist you in the completion of your enrolment. It also provides you with essential information on our Orientation Programme and other requirements to orientate you as a student of Temasek Polytechnic. Do take the time to read all the information provided.
Check that you have the following items in your package.
- Enrolment Notice
- Enrolment Data Form
- Enrolment Guide with Envelope A enclosed
- Financial Package with Envelope B (Full-Time Diploma Students) or
- Envelope C (Polytechnic Foundation Programme Students) enclosed
If there are missing forms, please collect them from the One-Stop Service Centre (OSC) in Temasek Polytechnic during office hours. If you are not able to come in person, you may authorise someone to collect on your behalf.
Note:
For National Service-liable personnel
If you are not granted NS deferment/disruption, do not proceed with the online enrolment.
For information on NS deferment/disruption, proceed to NS Portal (www.ns.sg) or contact NS Call Centre at 1800-3676767.
Proceed to complete Section C of Envelope A for reservation of course with supporting documents from Central Manpower Base (CMPB) or the respective Unit stating the ORD/Enlistment date.
System Requirements
To use the course acceptance system, your computer must have the following minimum system requirements and settings.
- Operating system: Windows 2000/XP or higher
- Best viewed in Internet Explorer 6.0 SP 2 and above; 1024 x 768 SVGA
- Printing settings: A4-sized paper, portrait

Steps to complete Online Enrolment Registration (Screenshots - PDF:447KB)
What you need
- NRIC/Passport Number
- Date of Birth
- Enrolment Key (refer to your Enrolment Notice)
- Parent's/Guardian's Particulars
- A copy of Result Slip/Transcript
Online Enrolment
1. Accept the course and complete the following sections in the online enrolment system - Enrolment Registration Record
- Medical Report: Self Declaration Form (Part 1)
- Medical Report: Doctor's Certification (Part 2)

Undergo Medical Examination
| 1. You must have your medical examination and chest X-ray done by Singapore registered medical practitioner. Please refer to the website for a list of these practitioners here. | 2. Bring along the Medical Report forms to the clinic: - Self-Declaration Form (Part 1)
- Doctor's Certification (Part 2) for the doctor to fill in.
| | 3. Check that your medical report is completed and endorsed by the doctor before you leave the clinic. | | 4. For international students, do bring along the ICA Medical Report Form downloaded from ICA website. | | 5. Collect the medical report and chest X-ray report from the clinic within 3-5 working days. | | 6. If you have been certified to be unfit due to the following medical conditions (PDF:198KB), approach our Admissions staff at One-Stop Service Centre (OSC) for advice. |
Note:
- If your medical reports require more than 5 working days for collection, please inform us & mail in the report later. Do not hold back on the submission of the other documents.
- If you have been transferred to Temasek Polytechnic from another polytechnic, you are not required to do another medical examination. Indicate the polytechnic you have submitted the reports to on Envelope A (refer to A14) and we will follow-up with that polytechnic.
- The costs incurred for your medical examination will be fully borne by you.
Complete Financial Forms
(For Full-Time Diploma Students Only)
Ensure that your forms are completed accurately as incomplete forms may delay the processing of your application(s) with the Financial Scheme Organisation(s). You are NOT allowed to use correction fluid on the application form.

Complete Financial Forms
(For Polytechnic Foundation Programme Students Only)
Ensure that your forms are completed accurately as incomplete forms may delay the processing of your application(s) with the Financial Scheme Organisation(s). You are NOT allowed to use correction fluid on the application form.
1. Compulsory Form Complete Application for Interbank GIRO Form for fee deduction/payment. Interbank Giro (PDF:117KB) | 2. Optional Forms (for those who are applying for Financial Schemes for payment of fees) Post Secondary Education Account - PSEA (DOC:154KB) from the MOE website. Complete and sign the Application for the use of Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) form. |
Apply for Student Pass (For International Students Only)
| 1. You are required to send an email to the International Students Office at email address “isohotline.tp.edu.sg” to request for a SOLAR number. Please refer to STEP 1 in http://www.tp.edu.sg/studentpass.pdf for the information to be provided in the email. | | 2. You are then required to log on to the SOLAR system from the Immigration Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website (www.ica.gov.sg) – with the SOLAR Application Number (given to you at STEP 1) and your personal particulars to submit the Student Pass (STP) application online to ICA for processing. A processing fee of $30 is required for every application submitted to ICA by credit/debit card or internet banking. | | 3. Once ICA approves your online application for STP, Temasek Polytechnic will send a scanned copy of the In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter to your email. You may use the scanned copy of the IPA letter to enter Singapore. | | 4. Please use e-appointment (https://eappointment.ica.gov.sg/ibook/index.do) facility to select your preferred date and time to complete the formalities for your Student's Pass application. After you have arrived in Singapore, you are required to go to ICA personally to complete the formalities. | | 5. The Student's Pass will only be issued not more than one month before the commencement of the course. Please refer to STEP 4 in www.tp.edu.sg/studentpass.pdf for the documents to bring along to ICA. | | 6. Your STP will be ready for collection about 3 working days from the date of submission of all required documents. ICA will notify you of the date to collect the STP. A $60 issuance fee is payable for every STP issued and a further $30 multiple-entry visa fee for visa required nationals, where applicable. | 7. Prior to collection of STP, you are required to print and acknowledge a copy of the Terms & Conditions of Issue for Long Term Pass (LTP) Card. Please log on to (http://www.ica.gov.sg/data/resources/docs/Visitor%20Services/Terms_&_Condtions_LTP.pdf) for a copy of the form. After you have obtained your STP, you will be required to submit a photocopy of your original STP to the One-Stop Service Centre before the term commences. | | 8. This is important because the FIN number (on your STP) is needed for the printing of your Tuition Grant Agreement and for application of the student travel concession (EZ-link) card. |
Submit all completed forms and supporting documents
| 1. Refer to Checklist A (PDF:30KB), which is at the reverse side of Envelope A. | | 2. Refer to Envelope B (PDF:68KB) or Envelope C (PDF:66KB), which is within the financial package. | | 3. Put the completed forms with the relevant documents into Envelope A and Envelope B or Envelope C. | | 4. Put Envelope B or Envelope C into Envelope A before mailing it out. |
Note:
For submission in person, drop the Envelope A and Envelope B into the respective drop-in boxes provided at the One-Stop Service Centre (OSC).
