Financial Assistance Schemes Available for Full-Time Students include:
- Financial Assistance Schemes ,except Post Secondary Education Account (PSEA), cover only Tuition Fees. Other Fees must be paid using your own funds.
- PSEA can be used to pay for Tuition Fee and Other Fees.
- You are allowed to apply for one or more Financial Assistance Schemes if you are eligible. Students are advised to submit the completed application forms / standing order (PSEA) with required supporting documents to the Polytechnic. The Polytechnic will forward your application forms / standing order (PSEA) to the Financial Scheme Organisation for processing. This will expedite the approval process of your Financial Scheme application.
- All application forms / standing order for the Financial Assistance Schemes (except the CPF Approved Education Scheme form) are obtainable from Temasek Polytechnic , Finance and Administration Department at Administrative Block (West Wing), Level 7 from Lift Lobby D. All application forms / standing order for the schemes, including the CPF Approved Education Scheme form and Standing Order for Use of Post Secondary Education Account (PSEA) form, are to be submitted to the same address.
- CPF application form can be downloaded from the CPF Board's Website. You are strongly encouraged to submit CPF application online which is available from 3 March 2008. Kindly print hardcopy of the online CPF application (showing the application percentage and personal particulars) and also the CPF board acknowledgement of the online application using the "My Activities" page with status reflected as "External User Processed" and submit them to Finance and Administration Department. This is to ensure that your name will be included in the claim file submitted by the Polytechnic to CPF Board.
- For hardcopy application, please submit the original application form to the Polytechnic for processing.
- Instructions on how to apply as well as the terms and conditions of the schemes are available on the application forms / standing order. Please read the instructions carefully before applying for the schemes.
- Please liaise with the respective scheme organisations for the results of your applications.

Note: Students are strongly advised to submit their application forms for Financial Assistance as soon as possible.
CPF Approved Education Scheme
(Please note that there is a withdrawal limit for usage of CPF funds for Tuition Fee payment, ie. not all the balance amount in the CPF account can be used for Tuition Fee payment)

CPF Deduction Status
If your application under the CPF Approved Education Scheme has been approved, you may find out the status of every deduction through the following ways:
- Fee Payment Status Enquiry
> Click on the CPF Deduction Status > Enter your Admission Number and Password > State the Academic Year and Semester
- Tax invoice will be sent to the student's home address at the start of each semester giving all details of the fee due for payment and the amount paid by the scheme (eg: CPF Approved Education Scheme).
Post Secondary Education Account (PSEA)
With effect from AY2008/2009, Edusave funds will be transferred to Post Secondary Education Account (PSEA). As such, all Edusave application previously applied through the Polytechnic will be terminated.
Students who wish to use Post Secondary Education Account (PSEA) funds will have to submit the Standing Order for Use of Post Secondary Education Account (PSEA).
- The standing order is applicable only if the student has a Post Secondary Education Account (PSEA).
- Student can use own or sibling's PSEA to pay for Tuition Fee and Other Fees.
- The parent has to authorise the use if the student and/or sibling is below 21 years old.
- Please note the standing order will be available at MOE's website: http://www.moe.gov.sg/finance/PSEA/ by end of February 2008
Mendaki Tertiary Tuition Fee Subsidy Scheme
Eligibility
Malay Muslim students are eligible to apply for a tertiary tuition fee subsidy only if:
- You have previously enjoyed free secondary and/or pre-university education and must meet the Public Service Commission's criteria for free education in government and government aided schools, centralised institutes and junior colleges;
- You are enrolled as Full-Time students of the Polytechnic;
- Your monthly family income does not exceed $3,000.00
Subsidy Level
- You will enjoy full subsidy if your monthly family income is $2,000 and below
- Partial (70%) subsidy if your monthly family income is between $2,001 and $3,000

Mendaki Study Loan Scheme
Students who are Muslim but not Malay may wish to apply for Mendaki Study Loan Scheme. Even though you have applied for the loan or it is approved, you still have to pay the fee payable to the Polytechnic as the loan is between you and Mendaki.
Tuition Fee Loan Scheme
Eligibility
Full-time students except the following can apply for tuition fee loan to pay for up to a maximum of 75% of the Tuition Fee through DBS Bank:
- PSC Scholarship/Bursary/Loan Holders.
- SAF Scholarship/ Local Training Award Holders.
- Students receiving full Tertiary Tuition Fee Subsidy from Mendaki.
Requirements under the scheme
- The guarantor must be at least 21 years and must not exceed 60 years of age.
- First-time applicants and their guarantors are required to call personally with the completed application form, their identity cards / passports and the Letter of Offer (which must be signed in the presence of a bank officer) at any of the DBS branches.
- A duplicate copy of the endorsed Tuition Fee Loan Application Form will be returned to you by the bank.
- The application is opened once every Academic Year. The closing date for application is 15 May. You have to obtain a letter from the Polytechnic, Finance and Administration Department to support the loan application to the bank if you exceed the closing date.
