Q1. How do I know if I am eligible to pay tuition fee by CPF monies? Can I use my sibling's or relative's CPF to pay for my tuition fee?

Q2. How will I be notified of the result of my CPF application and deduction?
CPF Board will process the form and send approval letters to the student and member. If you had applied online, you can check the status of your online application anytime, by logging on to www.cpf.gov.sg using your SingPass under "My Activities". If your application is unsuccessful, you have to make payment either by NETs/CashCard/Cash/Cheque at Temasek Polytechnic, Finance & Administration Department.
Q3. When and where should I submit the application form?

CPF application can be submitted either online or in hardcopy. You are are strongly encouraged to submit CPF application online. Kindly print hardcopy of the online CPF application (showing the application percentage and personal particulars) and also the CPF board acknowledgement of the online application using the "My Activities" page with status reflected as "External User Processed" and submit them to the Polytechnic. This is to ensure that your name will be included in the claim file submitted by the Polytechnic to CPF Board. Please submit the online CPF application and CPF board acknowledgement or hardcopy manual application to Temasek Polytechnic, Finance & Administration Department.
Please be informed that application submitted after the closing date will not be accepted by the CPF board.
Q4. Can I use CPF to pay my year 1, semester 1 fee?
Yes, you can use the CPF monies to pay your year 1, Semester 1 tuition fee onwards (subject to CPF's approval) by submitting your CPF application form with your enrolment forms.
Q5. Why is my fee not settled even though I have applied for the CPF Education Scheme?
It could be due to unsuccessful CPF deduction. You may check your CPF deduction status at the "Fee Payment Status Enquiry" section.
Q6. How do I pay for my school fees if my parent's CPF deduction for tuition fee is unsuccessful?
Please pay your fee at Temasek Polytechnic, Finance & Administration Department, Administration Block, Lift Lobby D, 7th storey, either by NETs/CashCard/Cash/Cheque. If payment is made after the due date, the student has to pay the outstanding plus a late fee of S$15.00.
Q7. My CPF application made during the enrolment was unsuccessful. How will I be notified to pay the fees?
CPF Board will notify the CPF members by mail on their CPF application status. The Polytechnic will arrange to deduct the full fee from your authorised bank account if you GIRO application is successful. Failing which, you have to make payment at Temasek Polytechnic, Finance & Administration Department, either by NETs/CashCard/Cash/Cheque once you are notified that your application is unsuccessful.
