Who is eligible to apply for Tuition Fee Loan Scheme (TFL)?

| (i) | Full-time subsidised students except the following can apply for Tuition Fee Loan to pay up to a maximum of 75% of the Tuition Fee through DBS Bank :
• PSC Scholarship/Bursary/Loan Holders
• SAF Scholarship/ Local Training Award Holders
• Students receiving full Tertiary Tuition Fee Subsidy from Tertiary Tuition Fee Subsidy (TTFS) for Malays.
You may wish to apply for other Financial Schemes to cover the balance of the Tuition Fee.

How much can I borrow under TFL Scheme ?
|
| |
You are allowed to borrow up to a maximum of 75% of Tuition Fee. You have to pay the balance of Tuition Fee and Other Fees by using your own funds. Alternatively, you may wish to apply for other Financial Schemes to cover the balance of the Tuition Fee.

How do I apply for TFL?

| ii. | With your guarantor, bring the duly completed application form to any of the DBS Bank (not POSB) branches to get your TFL application form endorsed by the bank.
| | iii. | The bank will return you a photocopy of the bank application form for your reference.
| | iv. | Please submit a photocopy (A4 size) of the bank endorsed Tuition Fee Loan application form to Finance & Administration Department @ One Stop Service Centre, Administration Block 9, Level 2, Lobby C. For new students, please submit it together with your enrolment forms to the Polytechnic.
| | | Kindly note any Tuition Fee Loan application without the bank's endorsement is not considered as submitted to the bank and will not be accepted by the Polytechnic. |

Must I be a DBS account holder to apply for TFL?

You need not be a DBS account holder to apply for Tuition Fee Loan.
|

Who can be my guarantor?
|
| |
Your guarantor must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident, who must be at least 21 years of age and should not exceed 60 years old.

What are the obligations as a guarantor?
|
| |
