Applicants with Singapore-Cambridge O Level results or equivalent will be ranked according to their aggregate of English Language (EL), 2 relevant subjects (R2) and 2 other best subjects (B2), in short, ELR2B2, based on their GCE O Level results. Please note that A Level holders will be considered based on their O Level results.

Co-curricular Activities (CCA)
GCE O Level
Applicants who are active in their Secondary School's Co-curricular Activities (CCA) may gain up to 2 CCA points. The CCA bonus points can be used to improve their ELR2B2 aggregate ranking for admission consideration.
For GCE O Level students seeking admission to polytechnic courses and with the following CCA grades:

Below is an example of how to compute the aggregate of an applicant.
Example:
ELR2B2-A: 3 + 4 + 1 + 2 + 3 - 1 = 12
ELR2B2-B: 3 + 3 + 4 + 1 + 2 - 1 = 12
ELR2B2-C: 3 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 4 - 1 = 12
ELR2B2-D: 3 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 4 - 1 = 12
