TP provides the international student with a caring environment, an excellent academic experience, a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art facilities, an opportunity to share diverse ethnic cultural practices, and hands-on experience through projects and the Student Internship Programme.

Our International Students Office coordinates the recruitment of international students and organises immersion and cultural programmes to facilitate your smooth transition to life in Singapore and at TP.

In March 2007, TP was named the Best Host for International Students Studying in Singapore at the inaugural Singapore Education Awards organised by the Singapore Tourism Board.

Who Can Apply?

The minimum requirement for entry into a diploma programme is a College or High School Certificate, equivalent to the Singapore-GCE "O" level Certificate.

For SPM results, pure Science subject (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) is preferred for the relevant subject.

  1. Candidates applying for Design courses are required to submit their portfolio in CD format in addition to the test and/or interview.

How to Apply?

  1. The application form (PDF) can be downloaded here two weeks before the application period.
  2. Attached photocopies of the following supporting documents listed below. Please do not send your original documents as any documents submitted to us are non-returnable.
    1. Photocopy of your Passport or Identity Card (if applicable).
    2. Photocopy of your academic qualification (please refer to the table above on Country Requirements).
    3. Please include your educational certificates with detailed results in English translation.

An inaccurately completed form or an incomplete form will render your entire application invalid. Applications without supporting documents or applications received outside the application period will not be processed.
 

  1. Admission is based on merit. Please note that only One application form should be submitted. Duplicate forms received will void your entire application for the intake.
     
  2. All applications must be submitted on the hardcopy application form. We do not accept application sent via email attachments or through fax.
     
  3. There is no application fee.
  4. There is no age limit for international students.

Release of Results of Application Status

Applicants are to check their application status online during the following periods:

1. October 2009 Intake : 1 July 2009 to 30 September 2009

2. April 2010 Intake : 1 January 2010 to 31 March 2010

If the application status is 'Under Consideration', it means we are still processing the application. Please continue to check online until the final outcome which is either 'Successful' or 'Unsuccessful'.

All applicants will also be informed of the outcome of their application by email and post latest before the end of the release of the application period.
