Graduates in Greater Demand
Job prospects are aplenty for TP graduates as our market-relevant courses ensure that our graduates are always in demand by industry. The latest polytechnic graduate employment survey indicated that 91.3 percent of respondents who were economically active found employment within six months of graduating. About 72.1 percent of the economically active fresh graduates were in full-time permanent employment, an improvement from 69.8 percent in 2005.
Overall, fresh polytechnic graduates in full-time permanent positions are also commanding a higher pay, with the average gross monthly salary registering an increase to $1,711 in 2006, up from $1,659 in 2005.
