APEL (pronounced as “apple”) is an acronym for Applied Principles for Effective Living, which is a TP Core programme consisting of three subjects designed and developed by the Centre for Character Education.
APEL aims to nurture in TP students the attitude, skills and knowledge that will help to lay the foundation for their life-long success. Through APEL subjects, students learn how to grow their highest potential while helping others along, and how to make the world a better place.
The values we seek to inculcate through APEL include: respect, integrity, compassion, cooperation, perseverance, initiative and loyalty.
