Language & Culture (French & Japanese)

Divider

The ‘Language & Culture’ cluster provides you with basic skills for interaction with people from two of the world’s major economies – France and Japan.

French and Japanese are languages that are widely used in industry around the world. The culture components allow you to explore tradition, values and behaviour as well as new ways of thinking. Your horizons are thus broadened and this greatly complements the industry-related skills developed in your diploma core subjects. You will also learn to appreciate cross-cultural issues and adapt to new ideas and paradigms. These are essential mindsets for effective members of an increasingly international workforce.
