At first glance, Blender can look very intimidating to learn. With so many buttons, interfaces and menus, it is quite scary to even get started not to mention master the software. Yet, Blender has been compared to industry-proven software like Maya and 3DS MAX in terms of ease of use and capabilities. The only difference is that where Maya and 3DS MAX will set you back thousands of dollars, Blender is actually FREE and open-source and is supported by almost every single OS. So this course is designed for you to get started in learning to model and even animate using the Blender 3D software.
On completion of this subject, students should be able to:
- Become familiar with Blender 2.6x unique interfaces and navigation
- Able to create simple models and complicate models using modifiers
- Able to apply materials and textures
- Able to apply correct lighting
- Able to animate models and cameras
- Blender Interfaces and Navigation
- Creating Objects
- Materials & textures
- Animation and Cameras
Participants will be awarded Certificate of Performance upon meeting 75% of the required course attendance.
