By Car

PIE

From the East - Get off the expressway from Exit 4B into Tampines North Flyover - go straight into Simei Avenue - then turn left into Tampines Avenue 1.

or

From the West - Get off the expressway from EXIT 8B (Bedok Reservoir) - go straight into Bedok North Road and then into Tampines Avenue 10 - then turn right into Tampines Ave 1.

ECP

Turn into Xilin Avenue towards Simei Avenue - then turn left into Tampines Ave 1.

TPE

Come out from Exit 5 into Tampines Ave 10 - then turn left into Tampines Ave 1.

By MRT

Alight @ Tampines MRT Station, and transfer to Bus 8, 23, or 69 at the Tampines Bus Interchange.

or

Alight @ Bedok MRT Station, and transfer to Bus 69 at the Bedok Bus Interchange.

By Bus

There are five buses serving TP:

BUS 8 from Tampines Interchange / Toa Payoh Interchange.

BUS 15 from Eunos Interchange / Pasir Ris Interchange.

BUS 23 from Tampines Interchange, looping from Rochor Canal Road.

BUS 69 from Tampines Interchange / Bedok Interchange.

BUS 518 from Pasir Ris Interchange, looping from Orchard Road.

Free Shuttle Bus Service for TP Staff and Students

The shuttle service from Tampines and Bedok to TP will operate during the following periods for Semester 1 2008:
Term 1: 21 Apr to 6 Jun
Term 2: 23 Jun to 15 Aug

Operation Period: Mondays to Fridays

Operation Time:
Tampines to TP - 7.30am to 9.00am (Frequency: Every 5 to 10 mins)
Bedok to TP - 8:25am, 8.35am and 8.45am

Staff and students are required to flash their staff cards/matric cards when boarding the bus.

Dial-A-Cab in TP

Temasek Polytechnic has signed-up with CityCab for the AutoDial Service. This service provides the no-talk, just-action way to book a cab with the 6552-5252 hotline.

The benefits of CityCab AutoDial include:

• No hassles communicating with an operator
• Easily book a cab from any push button phone

We have designated eight pick-up points and the numbers allocated to them for the taxi service are as follows:

1. Central Guard House at Admin Block
2. Car porch of School of Engineering
3. Loading Bay of West Wing Administration Block, opposite Lobby D
4. Loading Bay of East Wing Administration Block, opposite Lobby C
5. Lobby of School of Business near Library
6. Lobby of Block 41, Temasek Green
7. Lobby of Block 43, Temasek Green
8. Lobby of Block 45, Temasek Green

Booking Procedure:

> Dial 6552-5252
> Enter 6010 and # as account reference number
> Enter Pick-Up Number

Note: enter only ONE pick-up number, e.g. enter 1 for cab to pick you up at Central Guard House, or enter 6 for Block 41, Temasek Green

> Enter 0 as destination number
> Enter #

Note: taxi number will be announced while you hold on to the line.

Points to note:

• A booking fee of $3.00 and all other approved surcharges are applicable.
• Hanging up the phone before confirmation of taxi number will cancel the booking.
• Call 6552-7202 for any clarification or cancellation of booking.
• Cabcharge and other major credit cards are also accepted.
• Signages on the booking procedure have been put up at all pick-up points and at public phone booths along the HorseShoe, Plaza Level, as well as in the Audi Foyer.
