Outstanding FM Training Provider

 

TP’s Diploma in Integrated Facility Management has won the Outstanding FM Training Provider Award (IHL), conferred by the Singapore International Facility Management Association (SIFMA). 

 

The award recognises an Institute of Higher Learning for excellence in its facility management training programme, taking into account the curriculum and its industry relevance, teaching methodology, assessment model, as well as the success of its alumni.

Achievement - Rubix’s Cube Champion
Rubix’s Cube Champion

 

Tristan Chua Yong (IFM, 2024) emerged champion in the Megaminx category of the biannual World Cube Assiociation Rubix’s Cube Championship – the first and only Singaporean to do so – by solving the 12-sides Rubik’s cube puzzle (known as a dodecahedron) in the fastest average time of 29.25 seconds. 

 

He beat 313 other competitors worldwide and set a new world record, eclipsing the previous world record holder, Leandro Martin Lopez from Argentina.  The competition was held in Incheon, Korea on 13 Aug 2023.  

     

WorldSkills Singapore

 

Koh Wei Jie from the Diploma in Integrated Facility Management clinched a Silver award in the Digital Construction category of the prestigious WorldSkills (WSS) competition in Oct 2021.  His fine performance in the gruelling competition demonstrats his high level of technical competence.
