The New Paper featured TP’s graduating Veterinary Technology student Choo Han Xuan, who was born with haemophilia, a rare bleeding disorder. Minor cuts and injuries can be life-threatening to Han Xuan, who had to miss school, sometimes for weeks, each time he was injured. The article also described how Dr Jomer Bo Lucanas, Han Xuan’s Careperson, gave him extra lessons whenever he had to miss school. Han Xuan graduates with a GPA of 3.84 and hopes to pursue a career in biomedical research.
