BUS Senior students have been placed 2nd in the Youth Entrepreneurship Symposium (YES) competition 2018:
Organised by nEbO (nobody Enjoys being Ordinary), NTUC Club and held from 18-21 June 2018 at PSB Academy, this year’s competition attracted a total of 80 participating teams from five polytechnics. There were 3 top prizes and 7 consolation prizes. All participants had to undergo a series of entrepreneurship workshops, facilitation sessions and an elevator pitch.
The BUS team impressed the judges with the idea of a vending machine that can customise and dispense bibimbap (Korean Mixed Rice with Meat and Assorted Vegetables). They won cash of $1000 plus a 4-month mentorship by one of the mentors.
