Andy Chan, a graduate from the Diploma in Communications & Media Management (CMM) received the entrepreneurial grant of US$30,000 from Enterprise SG for his business, Collab. Collab uses artificial intelligence to match budding entrepreneurs to each other as co-founders. Collab’s business model earned them strong support from TP Launchpad, venture capitalist Trive Ventures, ACE, AWS Activate & Google Cloud for Start ups Program. These achievements came after a series of setbacks and failures, including the bleak stage of what he called “financial suicide”. Nevertheless, his conviction and determination prevailed to lead him to where he is today. Collab has recently clinched the First Runner-up Award at the Cryptocurrency Expo Pitching Competition. Andy may be enlisted for NS in October, he is definitely not resting on his laurels. His next milestone is to raise seed funding of $US600,000.
