Course Objectives

A recent study by global consultancy firm Mercer revealed that 51% of companies around the world have no business continuity plan in place to combat COVID-19 outbreak.

The main aim of a business continuity plan is to minimise disruption to business operations and ensure that business remains viable during the virus outbreak.

Based on the Singapore Standard for Business Continuity Management System - Requirements (SS ISO 22301), this program aims to equip companies with guidelines, checklists and advice for preparedness activities to minimise operational risks to their businesses during the virus outbreak.

Target Participants

Instructors' Profile

Siok Kun has a dual role as a lecturer and safety officer at Temasek Polytechnic (TP). She has more than 9 years of experience as the biosafety officer in the School of Applied Science. Besides teaching, Siok Kun spends her time working at TP’s Enterprise Risk Management department.

Paul Cheung is a staff developer at TP’s Learning Academy. Besides teaching science students, Paul spends his time working on eLearning courseware and coaching lecturers in e-Pedagogy.
