Wish to take your basics bread-making skills to the next level? Join us for this hands-on workshop to understand the different categories of bread and have the opportunity to make them in class. Our instructors will also explain basic baking science and decipher bread recipes to help you understand the various functions of ingredients.
Held in the Temasek Culinary Academy, you will execute the bread recipes in our commercial kitchen and interact closely with our experienced instructors.
This workshop bridges the gap from basic bread making to intermediate bread making to prepare fresh culinary graduates or bread baking enthusiasts to refine their craft and expand their baking knowledge or for working in commercial bakeries.
Baking enthusiasts with basic knowledge of bread baking;
Fresh diploma graduates from culinary programs; or Commis Bakers who wish to learn to bake more types of bread, and enhance their knowledge on baking science and ingredients.
Basic baking experience at home or commercially is highly recommended. Participants should be able to read and execute simple bread recipes in a safe and hygienic manner, including assembling; weighing; measuring; and usage of baking tools/equipment.
