Forbidden Fruit is a narrative-driven fashion brand that reinterprets religious symbolism through the lens of identity and self-authorship. Drawing on motifs traditionally associated with sin, guilt, and restraint, our brand transforms them into symbolic adornments and layered constructions that explore themes of confinement and reclamation. Each collection unfolds as a chapter within an evolving story, expressed through motif-heavy jewellery, hardware, and apparel. Presented as immersive, altar-like installations, Forbidden Fruit invites our wearers to confront the inherited narratives and redefine the meaning on their own terms — reclaiming what was once forbidden.

Fashion Design
Hello, I am Erica Koh. I am a designer who is drawn to the maximalism, theatricality, and emotional intensity of alternative subcultures. My work explores fashion as a transformation — an armour, a performance, and a way of externalising inner conflict. I am instinctively pulled toward exaggerated silhouettes, layered textures, and extreme visual languages that reject subtlety. Across projects, I return to themes of identity, tension, fantasy, and reinvention. For me, design is not just about aesthetic experimentation; it is a means of survival and self-construction — a way to reclaim space, to challenge the imposed limits, and to make the internal visible.
