Couth explores the tension between humans and animals—creatures positioned in polarity, yet bound by an undeniable resemblance.
Through the exploration of zero-waste pattern cutting in CLO3D, animalistic silhouettes are morphed into controlled drapes that contour the human form. Instinct and intellect collide in a mirrored tension-restraint and release existing in constant negotiation.

Hi! I’m Christiane Sophie!
I’m drawn to the themes of sustainability, structure, form, and feel. My works aim to invoke a sense of community and connection within the consumer—an olive branch of understanding that extends to form a bridge. Fashion is a language for all, with different dialects of expression.
Through my practice, I explore how garments can hold stories, values, and shared experiences. I’m interested in thoughtful construction, material consciousness, and the quiet dialogue between the wearer and the piece. For me, design is not only about aesthetics, but also about creating moments of connection—between people, cultures, and the environments we inhabit.
