Philautia is a collection that explores the journey of learning to love yourself. From the heavy, dark, low points to the happy, bubbly, airy highs, the collection blends these elements to show that to fully embrace yourself, you have to show yourself grace through all points of life.
Represented through flowing silhouettes, the collection allows the wearer to take up space. It mixes the heaviest and lightest parts of the self, as they all contribute to making something whole. With the stark colour contrast and playful collar use, the collection focuses on formative years where you are still finding yourself, playful but having to grow up soon.

Hello, I’m Erin, a designer who enjoys the playful, colourful side of life! Since I was young, I’ve always gravitated towards the “hands-on” activities that I grew up with. During my school years, I would diligently pursue my creative side while still ensuring my academic results were satisfactory, doing so either through doodling or crocheting under the table during class. It wasn’t a distraction, but rather a method I developed to focus better while listening. Through my works, I want to express and highlight my creative side, and this time, it doesn’t need to be “under the table” anymore.
