Gens D’armes is an experimental utilitarian brand grounded in the idea that clothing can serve as armour.
A structured layer for navigating the psychological, social, and physical demands of urban life.

The brand features garments that adapt and endure, responding to our movement and environment rather than remaining fixed. The silhouettes are controlled, engineered, and pared down. The form is defined by structure, not decoration. The hardware and closures are treated as functional systems. The buttons, zippers, and seams are placed to shift volume, redirect weight, and alter presence, allowing the wearer to expand, cinch, or reinforce the garment as needed.

The clothing does not demand attention. It commands presence.

Hi, I'm Ray, a multidisciplinary designer who builds innovative, functional garments by drawing on influences from film, music, sports, and digital media to create wearable storytelling. I bridge the gap between digital ideation and physical execution, combining industry-standard software skills with hands-on drawings, product construction, and strategic merchandising. By balancing technical precision with creative exploration, I engineer ideas from sketches to designs that perfectly align with my aesthetic of pure utility.
