Is sentience the only thing that separates the organic from the mechanical? In a world where convenience is valued and art is a commodity, humanity looks to the digital frontier. In Silicon Valley, emotions are mass-manufactured, memories and feelings are nothing but electrical synapses in the brain. Flesh and plates, veins and wiring, the line between the two is blurring rapidly. Does evolution require humanity to exchange our souls for rapid responses and instant gratification? The potential of such advancements is undeniable, but it is thusly overshadowed by humanity’s never-ending greed. Will the pursuit of evolution bring an end to the human soul?

The pseudo_soul collection highlights the contrast between the hard and soft, the organic and mechanical. Each look plays with exaggerated silhouettes, textures, clean lines and distressed hems. Every garment is crafted with love, by completely human hands, including the design process. Mechanical and tech waste is also utilised, giving new life to these components.

Hello, I'm Zenna!

I'm an aspiring fashion designer who enjoys designing and crafting bold, dark statement pieces. I work with unconventional materials and particularly enjoy detail-oriented work such as beading and hand-stitching. I have a strong love for darker, maximalist themes, and aim to tell stories with the pieces I create. Each garment I create is an ode to the experiences I've lived. To the people and memories that have shaped me as a designer and as a person.
