Do funerals need to be seen as a sad loss of a loved one?
The effort put into funeral rituals and prayers leads me to see funerals as a display of love standing even after death, as well as a peaceful send-off for the loved one.
Till Death Do Us Forever explores the fading funeral traditions in our modern lives and their deeper meanings. It features elements like pearl buttons, much like pearls placed on the lips of the deceased for protection in the afterlife. It also includes graphics inspired by Chinese paintings, incense smoke, and burnt fabrics, as well as layering inspired by joss paper.
