Design for Social Change

Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) is a mental health condition characterised by individuals engaging in meticulous self-analysis of their appearances, scrutinising themselves down to the smallest of details. The campaign, Microscopic Battles, mimics this characteristic of the condition by drawing a parallel to a scientific laboratory setting, where microscopic analyses are commonly performed. The lab (aka The Micro Lab) aims to raise awareness of BDD by providing a tangible experience to enable the audience to perceive this condition through the eyes of those affected.
