In the 21st century, gaming has become an incredibly popular and lucrative hobby. Games (especially online ones) are designed to retain your attention. This is a problem when you're a student with limited time. With little time on your hands, it's easy to game the hours away without realising it – before you can think about how to spend it. How can we game in moderation? 'The Game-Less Club aims to be a tool for students looking to game in moderation while building healthy habits – helping to develop greater time awareness. With aspects like alarms, goal-setting, gamification, statistics and rewards, it's to give student gamers everything they need to balance their time between their hobbies and everything else – and to breathe fun into what may seem a daunting experience.

If you asked me to categorise my life, I'd characterise myself mostly by what creative endeavour I'm working on at the time. It's just that projects are so subsuming, and can you blame me? I want to draw from my own and other people's personal experiences to find greater meaning in everything I do – and design is no exception. I place the greatest importance in the process, i.e. the 'making of', and I'm not afraid to challenge my beliefs or pick up new skills to get it done.
