In many Singaporean homes, conversations between grandparents and grandchildren often stop at “eat already or not?” or “school okay?” While these familiar lines come from care, interactions rarely move beyond surface-level exchanges despite the strong familial bond they share. Over time, both generations may begin to feel they are simply too different to truly understand one another, leading to fewer attempts to connect. But are these differences really the problem, or could they be invitations for deeper discovery and understanding?
Introducing Kin & Keep, a campaign supported by the Ministry of Culture, Community & Youth that reimagines how grandparents and grandchildren view their differences, shifting from “we’re too different to understand each other” to “there’s more to discover.” Through a playful at-home kit featuring a board game and other interactive activities, Kin & Keep turns everyday moments into meaningful ones, reminding us that where we differ is where we discover and that these moments are worth keeping together.

Hi, I’m Glenda! A designer driven by curiosity and heart, creating work that feels honest and true to who I am. To me, design is more than something to look at. It’s the feeling it leaves behind and the connections it sparks. I’m drawn to vibrant colour palettes, thoughtful storytelling, and playful illustrations, and I always aspire to craft work that feels intentional and genuine. I hope to keep creating pieces that move people, spark emotion, and leave a little something with them long after.
