In the age of social media, digitally documenting everything and overconsuming content are common. As we fill idle moments with endless scrolling, we give ourselves little space to reflect on and process our experiences. Our experiences lose their depth, and self-discovery becomes harder. As we scroll, we accept the thoughts, emotions, and opinions of a stranger as our own. When the input never stops, there’s no space to ask: What do I actually think? bits & pieces reclaims these idle moments through junk journaling, turning fleeting thoughts and emotions into something tangible. We encourage youths to reflect, embrace messiness and create without an audience.
