Exploring the growing emotional disconnect within Gen Z friendships, where constant digital connection coexists with feelings of loneliness and distance. While social media keeps friendships visible and ongoing, it often lacks the depth needed to build trust and emotional closeness. Fear of judgment prevents many Gen Zs from initiating honest conversations, even though they long for deeper bonds.
What We Don't Say encourages Gen Zs to acknowledge these fears and take small, low-risk steps toward opening up to their friends. By surfacing the shared, unspoken fears that hold people back, the campaign reframes vulnerability as a mutual experience rather than a personal weakness. Through guided prompts and shared moments, this project helps them feel safer, more natural, and rooted in understanding. Thus reminding Gen Zs that meaningful connections begin with the courage to take a leap.

Hello :-) I'm Megan, a designer grounded in campaign thinking and strategy. My strength lies in telling the story that needs to be told and in designing with intention and purpose. I always challenge myself to design from the audience's perspective, shaping my ideas with a deep understanding of how people think, feel, and interact. Each of my decisions is intentional, aiming to create authentic work that resonates and connects. I believe good design doesn't just “look good,” but shows up in people's daily lives and gently challenges our social norms, creating truly meaningful change.
