In many Asian households, we grow up avoiding conversations about death and grief, as it is seen as unimportant, inauspicious, or a burden to others. But loss is inevitable, so what happens when its weight falls on us? Without open dialogue or guidance, many youths struggle to process their emotions and end up suffering in silence.

In collaboration with *SCAPE, Healing in Transit is a campaign that introduces an exhibition that approaches this issue from a new perspective. Through a series of interactive, reflective zones, visitors are guided in navigating their feelings and learning the importance of healthy grieving. Ultimately, the campaign aims to empower Singaporeans to seek guidance through heartwarming stories and to reshape the generational cycle of how grief is talked about in Asian households.

Helloo! I'm Alexis and I believe that creating and designing is a way of life. My love for art started when I would watch hours of Mister Maker on TV and replay 5-Minute Crafts videos until I practically memorised every episode. Driven by my strive to create change, I see design as more than aesthetics, but a way of storytelling, innovation and intention woven together. I believe every design should spark emotion, challenge perspectives, and spark connection. Whether big or small, every piece I create carries purpose, hoping to leave people feeling seen, understood, and inspired.
