THE ALIEN EXPERIENCE is a satire campaign of the flawed systems around us that promise belonging at the cost of changing ourselves to be accepted. It embodies an institutional, solution-oriented tone in its pop-up experience and social media presence, enabling participants to feel the emotional dissonance between conformity and authentic connection. Ultimately, allowing them to come to the realisation on their own that belonging can never be achieved just by being liked, but rather by being known.
