BLINDSPOT is a project that exposes the hidden cycle behind blind box and chance-based collecting. It maps the real stages that keep the habit going: anticipation, impulse, the dopamine spike, the reveal, and the crash, so collectors can see what’s actually driving each purchase.

By breaking the loop into clear moments, BLINDSPOT highlights the triggers, emotional hooks, and longer-term consequences that often go unnoticed when you’re chasing “just one more box.” The goal is to shift collecting from autopilot to awareness, helping people recognise patterns, pause before buying, and make more intentional choices.
