Life is finite, yet we often live as if time is unlimited. In Singapore, death remains a cultural taboo, avoided in conversation and acknowledged only when it is too late. When mortality is left unspoken, we lose a powerful lens for understanding what truly matters.

Your Shelf Life reframes death as a catalyst for clarity through the familiar structure of a grocery store. Just as products have shelf lives, so do we. Across six aisles curated by Death, visitors encounter tangible moments that make mortality approachable without fear or instruction. The project doesn't tell people how to live. It creates space for awareness, allowing visitors to leave with clarity about how death can shape how they choose to spend their time.
