In Singapore’s rapidly evolving landscape, many everyday items have remained quietly present across generations. Though often overlooked for being ordinary, these objects carry cultural value and contribute to our identity as we grow up. As time passes, their significance is easily forgotten. Singapedia is a digital time capsule created in collaboration with the National Heritage Board (NHB) to document and preserve everyday items that have shaped Singaporeans’ way of life. Grounded in NHB’s mission to celebrate the shared heritage of its diverse communities, the platform focuses on self-discovery. By encouraging recognition and reminiscence, Singapedia enables visitors to reconnect with familiar objects in their own way. Ultimately, the project aims to preserve Singapore’s cultural landscape by safeguarding everyday objects that define and reflect Singaporean life.

Hello! I’m Jeslyn, a designer who is fascinated by how visuals communicate and shape perception. I’m particularly drawn to projects where strategy meets emotion — where design is not just about aesthetics, but about purpose. From building brand narratives to crafting immersive experiences, I love translating insights into visuals and moments that people can relate to and remember. I believe good design doesn’t just look good — it carries intention, tells a story, and creates impact.
