For many youths, religion and temple culture exist at a distance: visible yet opaque, present yet difficult to engage with meaningfully. The absence of accessible, trusted spaces for inquiry often turns curiosity into disengagement. These curious youths seek answers and, more importantly, find a space where their love for the culture can be nurtured.
Studio DAO is a club for these curious youths to ignite their fire and help others do the same. We aim to provide members and guests with a place not only to gain knowledge but also to share it. Through our curated social media posts, gather bite-sized trivia on Taoist ideas. Hop on our self-guided trails that bring you around the Lion City's various temples. Fancy a book? Grab our special publications, each focused on different aspects of Taoist religion and the unique culture that grows locally.

Jun Kiat here, Jun for short. My CCs are always on: Creative and Culture. I aim to create designs that influence people, especially through branding and visual identity. From self-publications to editorial layouts, I enjoy getting my hands dirty in the process. I’m also deeply immersed in the traditional culture scene of the Chinese diaspora here in Singapore—perhaps you’ll spot me at a temple event.
