As the use of the Malay language among children in Singapore slowly declines, many grow up seeing it as another school subject rather than a living part of their identity. While older generations feel disappointed watching traditions fade, few initiatives truly speak the language of today’s children.

Jejak Budaya reimagines cultural preservation as an adventure instead of a lesson. It rediscovers Malay through experience, play and storytelling, where language is not just spoken, but felt through its movement, rhythm and poetry.

Because Malay is more than just a language, it is an art form.
