What if your AI prompts are in the physical world?
TYPE & TYPE is a project that questions what happens when seemingly weightless Gen-AI interactions are made tactile. As prompting becomes habitual and effortless, its hidden environmental and behavioural costs remain largely invisible.
The project centres on a digital translator that understands users’ Gen-AI behaviours, including prompt volume, speed and iteration, and converts them into the form, stitching, and colour of their personalised FREITAG bag. Each design decision follows a fixed scoring system that turns digital habits into material consequences. A data clochette accompanies the bag, acting as a portable record of use that cannot be dismissed or closed.
By materialising invisible systems, TYPE & TYPE invites users to reflect on efficiency, intention, and excess, revealing that what feels light on screen often carries real weight in the physical world.

Hey, CLEOPAN here. Design isn’t just what I do, it’s who I am. It’s the language I think in, the way I communicate, and how I make sense of the world around me. If there is no design, there is no me.
I’m endlessly curious and always ready to explore new ways of creating work that feels beautiful, soulful, and deeply human. I believe design should connect before it impresses, and move people before it explains itself. I’m here to craft experiences that speak clearly, feel honest, and leave a lasting meaning.
